Our thick-cut fries are amazing. Instead of being crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the fries are starchy and a bit rubbery, which could become as a surprise to you. The flavour is like a gently roasted potato, which was tasty in its own way, but different than conventional chips. Considering these are only a dollar or so more than a side of regular chips, I’d suggest starting with burger and if you’re still hungry, picking up our fine and think-cut fries instead.

At Open Pizza, we decided to serve you the healthy organic option as we know we’re all tired of pizza toppings that are swimming in oil, making all but the crust soggy and inedible.

A big factor in making a pizza great is the sauce! Sometimes the sauce doesn’t stand out at all, sometimes you notice it’s really great, and other times it’s quite bland or not quite to your liking. Is it thick or thin, sugary, sweet, tomato-y, spicy, bland, or just the right amount of spices? Many are concerned with counter-balancing the acidity of the tomatoes in the sauce. I sometimes have a hard time telling if a sauce is too acidic, but comparing it to a sauce I really like, I can tell a difference – it can be a little tart. Some people have acid reflux and acidic foods cause a lot of heartburn. So when we’re making pizza sauce, we try to balance out the acidity and tomato taste and always everything fresh and organic.
